Are you lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans/transgender? (LGBT) Are you aged between 18 and 25? Have you been homeless in the past year?
If you have answered yes to these questions, then you might be interested in participating in a research project by the University of Stirling.
They are interested in the experiences of LGBT people who have been homeless, meaning if you have lived in temporary accommodation or “sofa-surfed”, as well as accessing formal homelessness services.
They want to know about your experiences and how they might make these experiences better in future for other people.
All the research will be confidential and discrete in a venue which is comfortable for you. They will not say why you are being interviewed to anyone. You will be given a £10 gift voucher as a thank you for taking part.
If you want to be involved in this research please contact: Dr Peter Matthews, University of Stirling at: email@example.com 01786 467688 (or text on 07811375399) ... See MoreSee Less

Our friends at TGEU - Transgender Europe have published their annual Trans Rights Europe Map & Index - have a look to see what gender recognition, asylum, hate crime and non-discrimination laws look like for trans people across Europe.
The Index ranks the UK as a whole, and a few of the places where we don't score points are in relation to legislation that is reserved (still controlled by the UK Parliament at Westminster, rather than the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood). This includes asylum law and non-discrimination laws that protect gender expression. Our Scottish LGBTI Equality Pledge includes two calls about these issues - so please ask your candidates to sign up using our really quick tool at: equality-network.org/lgbtipledge
The other areas where we don't score points are in relation to our gender recognition laws - an issue that is devolved to Scotland, and can be changed here. Our Equal Recognition Campaign is seeking to reform our current law to bring it in line with international best practice. Read more about the campaign at: equalrecognition.scot/... See MoreSee Less
